During an interval, Mr Dugald Macfarlane, Chairman of the School Com mittet). distributed the school priz s, with a few well-chosen remarks. The following boys and girla were the prizetakers : —

Kneen's song 'cih-er Rhino," readings by Alißß Stewart, two ttoro by Mr Macfarlane, and a fow songs and readiDga by school childran, were very interesting, and kept tho audience delighted. A ball brought th day's amusement to a close There wcra not so many dancers as we should have liked to have seen; never the!o>s, vigorous dancing wa9 kept up till 1.30 a.m., when the musician struck, and the company dispersed.
