Sydney, Jaruary 12 Mr Dibbs has formally tendered his resignation as Colonial Secretary, It is probable Sir Patrick Jennings will withdraw his resignation and endeavor to reconstruct the Ministry.

Mr Dibbs forwarded his resignation to the Governor to-day, ignoring the fact that Sir Patrick Jennings tendered the resignation of the Ministry as a whole. It is considered doubtful whether Lord Carrington will accept the resignation, though nothing further is yet known. <
