LONDON WOOL SALES.
The National Mortgage and Agency Company have the following cable message from their London office m reference to the wool market : — .
" Brisk demand privately between sales ; merino shows an average rise of id per lb."
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following cable message, dated London, 6th January:-—
Wool — Market is firmer. The total quantity suld by private tieaty since last sales is 1500 bales. The continental demand is good.
