Thirteen cases of small-pox have been reported among the Preussen’s passengers, three being very serious. Neither the mails nor the cargo have been landed, and the vessel is completely isolated. (Received December 31 12.30 p.m ) Adelaide, December 31. The health ot the smallpox patients at the quarantine station is improving. Mi DBOukne, Decembe 31. The quarantine passengers from the Preussen are all in good health. MAIL SERVICE. It is announced that the Victorian Government differs from the views expressed by the British PostmasterGeneraTs reply to a deputation from the London Chamber of Commerce in favor of the postponement of the question of the Australian mail service until the meeting of the Colonial Conference. Mr Dcrham, Postmasier-General of this colony,proposes thatthecolonies should invite tenders forja federal mail service without delay.
