A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident in fhe . district lying between the rivers Selvyn and Waitaki from July Ist 1886, and up to the date cf the forthcoming meeting and owned by a person who has resided - in the said dietr' ct during the same period. 3. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accord ance with this programme for expenses the course. 4. All nominations and acceptances go to the fundi of the Club.
