The Judges of stock were busy yesterday at the Metropolitan Show. A large attendance of the public is expected today, the grand day of the show. Visitors from a distance are turning np in greater force than usual. The express from the South brought ab.ut 150 j last evening, and a great many more a e expected, • he fu.lowing are the principal awards ; Champion Gold Medal for Shorthorn Bull— W. Watson’s “ Alviss Hero'” Champion Gold Medal for Shorthorn (jew—John Dean's “Flower of Brunswick 3rd.” Gold Medal for best Draught Entire— John Gilmour’s “ Kelvin.” Gold Medal for best Draught Mare--John Boag’s “ March oa< a ss 2-id. ’
