ME BYEN—SATURDAY. [Befoie Mr F. Chapman, J P., and Fr D. Cameron, J.P] KBUNKKNNESS. A first offender was fined 10s and costa for being drunk and disorderly in the township on the 27<h ult. am PLYING LIQUOR. P, Patton, licensee of the Met’-'.ven Hotel, was charged with supplying liquor to a man whilst in a state of intoxication on October 27. Sergeant Felton conducted the case for the police, and Mr C. W, Purnell appeared for the defence. After some formalevidence had been taken. Mr Purnell applied for an adjournment as two important witnesses for the defence were not in attendance. The police c (faring no objection, the case was adjourned to Monday, the 29 h inst. CIVIL CASK. W. Rowse v S. Wolf, c’aim £1 14i.— Judgment by default for amount claimed and costs. On the application of plaintiff immediate execution was granted. The Ooart then rose.
