Unfavorable reports of the Kimberley goldfield still continue to be published. The Evening Post tc-night publishes a letter from D. McGarth to a Wellington friend, from which the fallowing >s an extrace There are men in scores starving, and no prospect bat to starve. There Is no gold getting and they have no money, so there is nothing for them bnt to starve right oat. What with flies and snakes, aid blacks, and ants, and heat, life is a misery to nun. No matter wb»t kinds of reports are in the paper, don’t ever come here; if yoo do you will be sorry for camming.”
