O’FARRELL’S CASE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sik, —Will you kindly inform me if O’Farrell, who shot at the Dnke of Edinburgh in Sydney, was hung for the crime, and oblige,—Yours, &c , J. B. Golden. Ashburton, October 20, 1886. [O’Farrell was hung at Sydney. It wan attempted to get him off on the plea of insanity, but the attempt failed, and the capital sentence was carried ont,— Ed. Guardian ]
