Put the but'er into a large basin, ami with your h'.nis mix wi ll with the above preparations until the whole is incorporated ; pack it into a nuall tub or wooden j*r, then tie down very close, and let it stand in a cool dry pUce. It should rot be opened for six weeks or two months, when it will bo fi . for nse, and present a r : ch marrowy flivor and fine colour.—From People's Friend Household Column.
