Five hundred guests were present at the Mayor’s reception, when the Mayor of Sydney delivered an address of welcome to the visitors. The Mayors of the principal'cities in all the colonies, with the exception of Western Australia, were present to respond. to the address.

VOTE OF CENSURE. In the Assembly to-night the debate on Sir H. Parkes' vote of censure motion is still proceeding. MELBOURNE MARKETS. Melbourne, October 13.
