BRITISH AND FOREIGN [REUTER'S TELEGRAMS—COTTRIGMT ] THE FISHERIES DISPUTF. ‘ Ottawa October 12. An American fishing schooner which failed to report at the Customs, Nova Scotia, have been seized and her owners fined, as the master persisted in hoisting the American flag. The Captain of the Canadian cruiser. Terror ordered a party on board to lower the flag, which was accordingly done. An armed guard was placed in charge of the schooner.
