[rkdter’s tbleobams— copyright.] LIVE STOCk'cONFERFNCE. Stdnkt, October 9 The conference for the discussion of matters relating to live stock was concluded to-day. The Committee recommend that the restrictions now placed on the importation of stock into the colony be removed. LIVELY LEGISLATORS. During a discussion on the Divorce Bill in the Assembly yesterday morning, another scene occurred in an anteroom, where Mr Lysaugbt struck Mr Gibbes. Further blows were prevented by the members present.
