CONFERENCE Sydney, September 22. A conference has begun between the representatives of the Shipowner* Association and the Seamen's Union over the questions in dispute. The Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, revievdflg the local markets, reports as follows’:Shipping wheat is steady at $s .gd to 5s 6d pet bushel; malting barley, per bushel, 3s pd to 4s 6d ; Kew Zealwd oats, feed sorts, for which there iwaoderate enquiry, 3s 3d to 3s rd; milling descriptions, in fair demand, 3* to 3s ?d ; New Zealand o«t& under bond, slow of sale, 25 6d to as 8d per bushel.
