New Zealand Securities, five per cent 10.40, Loan, unaltered Four and a half per cent 1879 1904 Loan, 99^; Four per cent Inscribed Stock, 98)^. The bank rate is 3 per cent and market rate, 2*4 per cent. Tallow of fair average quality shows an improvement on last quotations. Beef is worjh 24s and mutton 27s per cwt. Later New Zealand securities, five per cent, 10-40 Loan 10 r, ex div. Colonial breadstuff's show a general decline. Adelaide wheat, per 4961 b, ex store, is is lower (355) ; ditto flour, per aSolb, 6d lower (.245) ; New Zealand wheat ex store, per 4961 b, 28s to 335, according to grade. At to-day’s wool sales a catalogue of 10.000 bales was submitted, the demand being active.
