The English men, who yesterday lost 3 wickets for 266 runs, resumed their innings, which closed for 658 ; Bates contribut ng 63 ; Flowers 82. The visitors then commenced their first innings, and when stumps were drawn for the day had lost 3 wickets for 77 runs.
