SOUTH RAKAIA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The usual monthly meeting of the South Raksii School Committee was held in thejLibrary on Monday evening. Present —Messrs Hardy (Chairman), Broadbent, Cox, Oxley and Reyoraft. J master's report. The master reported that the average attendance for the month was 84 7 ; highest attendance 164, number on roll, 204. He attributed this small result to the rough weathe r . He suggested that the Committee should purchase fruit and other trees and form a garden at his house. (HARDIN. It was resolved that the request made by the master for a garden could not be entertained. SDB-COMJimSE. Messrs Cox, Hardy and Oxley were appointed a Sub-Committee to report on the school grounds and the proposed aberrations to the next meeting. PAYMENTS Acoocnta were passed for payment and the Commit*** adjourned.
