Tue following anecdote regarding the worth/ and p ipuiar cl-rgymsn, Dr Stoart, of Ka 'X Church, Dunedin, to .given by “ Civis,” who writes ;—Some day" we shall have a volume cf Stuartana—anecdo es of the most popular minister in Otago, anecdotes authentic and mythic, collected and preserved by pious Knox Kirkers for the instruction of posterity. Towards which prospective collection I beg to contribute two or three stories, quite au haotic, received th-'e week : A few Sundays back the doct »r was “ expiunrlig,” as his wont is, duiinr the reading of the Word.
