The Canterbury Cap meeting was held at yesterday, In wether that war s'l that could be deßlred. Mr Chattels acted a* Jud .j. ; Messrs Calvert and Lembef took the slips. A goodly number of spectators was prcaant. Hares were very plentiful, but were wild. Following are results: Canterbury Cop, Ist round. Bohemian Girl beat Lady of the L .ke. Marora beat Symphony Salamauder was absent, and Ooomaisie ran a bye. Juvenile Plate Ist round. Wakannl beat Ballarat Seaihell beat Mollis Bawn Wakata beit Bendigo Seilor Boy beat Heather Ball Kknsi-gton Stakes. Ist round. Paradox beat Molly
No other events than the above were got off yesterday, but coursing will be resumed at 8 o’clock th's morning.
