Its Celebration. [reoter’s telegrams—copyright ] Sydnrv, August 28. The proposals of Government in connection with the celebration of the centennary embrace a series of grand public gatherings, extending from Jan. 23rd to February 7th next year. Invitations will be issued to the British Association to visit Sydney at the time, and to the naval squadron, to rendezvous at Fort Jackson during the celebration. ,
