A. I'rotcit. [beuxer's TELEGRAMS— COPYRIGHT ] Melbourne. August 26 A deputation to-day waited upon the Commissioner of Trade and Customs to urge the abolition of gristing of oats sirailaily to that of wheat in bond. The Commissioner argued that there was no parallel between wheat and oats, unless it was shown importation of the latter from New Zealand affected the price of Victorian oats. He ptomised, however, to covsider the representations made by the deputation.
