AN AMENDED BUDGET.
A Setter JPoeition. [rruter’s telegrams—copyright ] Adelaide, August 25. The Colonial Treasurer delivered an amended Financial Statement in the Legislative Assembly last night, showing a material increase of revenue; The debte balance of the current year is now estimated at instead of as in the previous budget. The estimated expenditure has not been changed. The proposed reduction in salaries is to be foregone, but the Civil Service is to be remodelled by the Treasurer.
