THE MISSING MAN LEVY.
Wellington, August 2,
Sergeant Walker, who returned from Sydney by the Wakitipn, while in that city made enquiries in reference to the missing man Levy. It seems the Sydney police received an anonymooa letter posted at Newcastle to the effect that Levy left in the Hauroto in a dazed condition, not knowing how he came aboard, that ho had left for Melbourne, had written to his wife and intended to return to Wellington as soon as he got money. The authorities eaid they saw a man answering the description of fisvy knocking about Sydney f >r several days,
