SERIOUS SOCIALIST RIOTS.
Fourteen Persons Killed.
[ ISITIKHM TKLnUUAMS—OOP TRIO HT.I Amsterdam July 27.
Serious riots caused by socialists occurred yesterday. The troops were called out and the police fired repeatedly on the mob, who erected barricades on some of the principal streets and Fourteen Socialists wero killed and thirtyfour, wounded, while fort} policemen who bore the brunt of the contest with the rioters severe injured more or less seriously. Order was at length restored, and to-day the j city is qniet.
