It has transpired that at the interview which took place on Saturday between Lords Salisbury and Harrington, the latter promised the support of his party to the measures intioduced by the Conservatives dealing with the Irish difficulty. It is expected that the position of Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in the New Ministry will be filled by the Earl of Iddesleigh.
