Wellington, July 24. The Hioemoa with Te WhiH, Tiotkowarn mod eight other natives arrived this morning, and" the prisoners were at once conveyed to the Terraco Gaol where they will bo kept in custody until the ©otober sittings of the Supreme Court. During their confinement the prisoners will be treated in the same way as other prisoners awaiting trial. Manma, July 26. Sergt. Anderson and Constable Frenklyn arrested eight natives to-day on a eharge of stealing pigs from the property of Walter Stoddart, in the bush, about six mPes from Manaia None of the prisoners have made any reference to Te Whiti or Titokowjru. The Natives had sheath knives and a gun, but offered no resistance when arrested. The police will apply for a remand until Tu aday
