THE DISPOSAL OF INEBRIATES.
Chbistchuroh, July 22
Sydney Cloxon, the inebriate who escaped from the hospital, was re-taken early this morning. Mr Beethatr, R. M., ordered the gaoler to take him back to the hospital The hospital board is determined not to allow the man to be admitted again, and the affair seems likely to result in further trouble. The h-spital authorities haying remained fitm in their refusal to receive the inebriate who was recaptured this morning, the difficulty has been temporarily got over by sending ’he man to Addington Gaol. The affair h*s caused some excitement here in consequence of there being no place suitable for the reception of such cases. The gaol, hospital and lunatic asylum all decline to take them in
