ASHBURTON BOROUGH SCHOOL.
Prize Distribution.
The prizas gained at the late examination were distributed last Friday afternoon by Mr J. C. Duncan (Chairman of the School Committee). Special prizsa were given by Messrs Thomas, Fried lander, Zander, and Wcodand Co Daring the distribution the infants were regaled ona plentiful supply of lo'lies and nuts, and afterwards a aeries of sports were carried out on the Boys’ playground, at which W. Kidd won Mr H, Zander's prize for best jumper in the school, other prizes for dJf rent races being gi.en by Metsn Duncan, Elston, and Kneen. PRIZE LIST. Standard VI, Boys. Girls. 1 s f Henry Mills 1.
