Sheep sold well, the improved demand being well sustained, and values on a level with last quotations. Fat half-bred wethers 10a ; mixed fat crossbreds, 9s 6d ; prime fat merino ewes, (is 6d ; forward merino wethers, 2s lOd and 3s; aged crossbred ewes, 2s 6d to 5s 31; forward 2-tooth crossbreds, 7s; small porkers, 12s 6d. Oattleslaometwitha faltdemand. Fatoows £5 5a ; forward three-year-old steers, £4 16s ; two years old heifers £2 15s 6i; medium da’ry cows, £4 15s and £5 10s ; yearling 20e to32s a piece. Ohertsey monthly sale 12th inst, there were fair entries of sheep, cattle, and sundries, and the sale passed off satisfactorily. We sold forward conditioned 4 and G tooth wethers, 10s6d; and fat merino ewes 4s 3d ; also privately 1000 mixed 2-tooth crossbreds at current value; medium dairy cows made £5, and small cattle proportionate rates.
