Fire. AtJCKL*in>, July 9 A destructive fire occurred at Hob Street at three o’clock this morni Origin, as usual, wrapped in mystery. Afloat. Westport, July o. The Wareatea was safely floated off the beach last night . J. T. Matson and the Cause. A Christchurch, July 3. Mr J. T. Matson was presented to-day - with a handsomely bound copy of the West Coast Railway League pamphlet, in recognition of his services to the cause. In his reply to the deputation presenting it he deprecated dissolving tho Laaguo at present.
