Dunedin, June 29.
A stormy meeting was hold at Anderson's Bay last night to consider a Bill to erect a bridge across the harbor; There were extraordinary scenes and strong feeling was evinced agjilnat the project. Professor Black’s analysis of the dust from Tautanga is that it is very little use as top dressing, and will make poor soil. It might improve heavy clay land by opening it up and might, on account of the fineness of the division, yield a little soluble nutrient to a first crop. He is much disappointed with the character of the dust from an agricultural point of view.
