The weather was cold and Inclement, but the attendance of the public was good. The following are the names of the Gentlemen players :—Hon M. B. Hawke, Messrs G. Kemp. G. Topen, A. Turner, W. G. Grace, C. E. Horner, M. Lucas, W, H. Patterson, N. W. Reid, W. E. Roller, and A; F. Kemp. The home team went in first, and remained at the wickets all day, and nearly all making double figures. Grace p’syed a splendid innings for 148, during which he only gave one chance.
