3 THE AUSTRALIANS AT HOME, [redter’s telegrams—copyright.] > London’, June 17. i The cricket match, Australians versus Gentlemen of England, commenced at Kensington Oval to dsy. The weather was cold and Inclement, but the attendance of the public was good. The following are the names of the Gentlemen players :—Hon M. B. Hawke, Messrs G. Kemp. G. Topen, A. Turner, W. G. Grace, C. E. Horner, M. Lucas, W, H. Patterson, N. W. Reid, W. E. Roller, and A; F. Kemp. The home team went in first, and remained at the wickets all day, and nearly all making double figures. Grace p’syed a splendid innings for 148, during which he only gave one chance.
