The only business of any interest this afternoon was the second reading of the Local Bodies Loan Bill, which was agreed to on the voices. Mr Macandrew’s Advances on Land Bill was'set down for the second reading on July 8. The deba'e on the Pacific Islands question will be resumed this and will probably occupy the whole sitting. Later. At the request of the Premier, the debate on the Pacific Islands question has been adjourned till Friday, and the House is now discussing the Government Loans to Local Bodies Bill.
