Replying to Mr Grace, the Premier said that the Government had made offers to assist the sufferers by the recent volcanic disturbances at Rotorua. He had now suggested that a Committee should be formed atTauranga, who ahculc communicate wiih the Government, and Government would give assistance in dealing with cattle and sheep. Mr Orm-md suggested that the sheep inspector should go to the district ani report. The Premier thank-id the hon mambet for the suggestion. He would bo glad to net on it. Notice was given to ask Government whether they would consider the readjustmeut of representation this session, and if rboy would cable to the Agent-General to send out sissmological expert to report on the volcanic disturbance. 1 CIY.
