Shortly after 2 this morning a por:ioa of W. J. Clydesdale’s confectionery factory in Tuam street was barned down. The cause is supposed to have been the over-hiating of the flue. The building was insured for £IOO in the Union office ; stock in trade, £6O in Union and £75 in Australian Mercantile ; sugar, £SO in Union.
Kimberley. Dcxedik, June 25. Over fifty miners met to-day and discussed plans of getting to Kimberley. Considerable Indignation at Hero being withdrawn from berth. No decision coma to.
