London, May 24.
Mr Bayard, United States Secretary of State, has forwarded a demand for the release of the American fishing vessel David Adams, which was seized by the Canadian Government on account of an infringement of the fisheries regulations. An indemnity is also demanded on the part of the owners of the vessel.
