A NOVEL CLOCK.
A clock rivaling in mechanism the celebrated Sirasburg clock has recently been brought from Germany to New York city, and is now in a store in Fourth street, near the Bowery. It occupies a space of 200 cubic feet; its weight is 1500 pounds, and it has 262 wheels. It is kept in motion by one pendulum and twelve weights. Of the latter the first is wound up every eight days, and the last at the end of 2000 years. The dial plates indicate seconds, minutes, hours days, weeks, months and years, and leap years from the year Ito 10,000 Tfiere are, besides, 122 movable figures, which appear at certain times. Among them are representatiuns of old Father Time, the four ages of man, death, the guardian angel, the twelve apostles, the seven heathen deities, the twelve signs of the zodiae, the four seasons of the year, the four phases of the moon, the globe, and incidents of the life of Christ.
