The debate on the Home Rule scheme was resumed last night in House of Commons, when the Right Hon. Sir Henry Janies spoke at some length against the Bill, which he declated contrary to the supremacy of Parliament and the unity of the Empire. The Right Hon. H. Campbell Banuerman, Secetary of War then addressed the House in defence of the measure, after which the debate was adjourned until Monday next.
