Telegraph Rates.
Reductions. (rEUTEb’s TELVGKiMS —COPYRIGHT.) (deceived M*y 8, 1 2 39p.m. Melbourne, To-day Mr John Pender, Chairman of the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company, telegraphs that all difficulties in the way of reduction in the rates are now overcome, and hopes the colonies will accept his recent proposals to allow non-contributing colonies to share benefit. The Victorian Government has taken the question under their consideration, but there decision is not yet known.
