Success Assured?BaOT«K’s T CLIO a A MS- (IOPVKIoH ' (Received May 4, 12 30 p.m.) London, May 3 A meeting of the Royal Commission of the Colonial and Indian Exhibition was held to-day, the Prince of Wales, Chairman of the Commission, presiding. His Royal Highness, in the course of bis speech, referred to the cordial response made by the colonies to the applications of the Commission, and stated that the Executive Commissioners would be required to convey an expression of thanks to their respective Governments. The guaran tee for the Exhibits® has already reached the sum of L. 210,000. A committee has been formed, under thr chairmanship of the Duke of Abercorn for the purpose of extending at hospitable reception „to visitors fron the polonies and a fund is bein] subscribed for that end.
