WAR OR NO WAR I—lt gives me reel pleasure, without mixture, without measure, to thank my many cub. tomers once more at this recurring season, and with both rhyme and reason for laying out their money at my store. And, whilst there's no denying, the times are rather trying, that trade is dull and money scarce enough. I’m proud to have to say, that my friends buy every day, without the aid of advertising pan. Ido not say I slaughter, as indeed I dld'ut onghter, and below the cost I don’t profess to sell. But in fair play none o»n beat me, I give them leave to eat me, who do not think 1 serve them very well. Now, as might be expected, my stock is well selected, while great variety of goods I have in store.' The teas so ably blended, can be well recommended, as has been often advertised before. Nelson, Moate and Co are showing, how the publio taste is growing for really pure and nicely blended teas. And those who have not trifd them, shouldiot self interest guide them, and . boy of me the thing that’s sure to please. Tea, Grocery, Fancy Goods, Glass, China, Earthenware, Fruit and Italian ff. ,M. CARSON, 'Bast street, Ashburton. Agent for Arthur' Yates, Garden seeds, wholesale and retail Sent foe Nelson, Moate and Co’s pure ended teas.
