Toialisator Stakes, of 15 sovs ; minimum weight Bst; nomination 1 sov, to be made to the Secretary immediately after the County Plato is run. Consolation Handicap, of 20 sovs; nomination, 1 sov, to be made to the Secretary immediately after the Welter Handicap is run; acceptance, free, to be notified to the Secretary within ten minutes of declaration of weights. 1 mile. RULES AND REGULATIONS. I 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying out this programme to be final. 2. Canterbury Jockey Club Racing Kales strictly adhered to. 3. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident in the district lying between the rivers Selwyn and Waitaki from July 15, 1885, and up to the date of the forthcoming meeting, and owned by a person who bos resided in the said district during the same period. 4. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expanses of the course.
5. All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of the Olnb. NOMINATIONS. All nominations to be accompanied by fees, name, age and description of horse, and colors of rider, and in the bands of the Secretary (address —Ashburton) not later than 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 1886. WEIGHTS. Weights for the first day’s handicaps will be declared on Friday, December 4, 1886. Weights for the second day’s ban* dioaps will be declared at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day’s racing. ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day’s handicaps must be made to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m. on TUESDAY, December 8, 1885.
