RULES AND REGULATIONS. L No entry will be received except on i.be conditions that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Committee, or whom they may appoint, their decision on all points in carrying out the programme to be final. 2. Ashburton Racing Club rules adhered to where practicable. 3. The races are open to any horse commonly resident in the district lying North of the Orari river and Sooth of the Selwyn river from October Ist to the date of meeting, and owned by a person who baa resided in the district above defined daring the same period. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable in accordance with this programme, for expenses of the course 5. All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of the Club. NOMINATIONS & ACCEPTANCES. All nominations to be accompanied by fees, name and performances of horse, and colors of rider, to be in the hands of the Secretary, addressed Scott’s Hotel, Tinwald, before 10 p m. on December 12tb, 1885. WAR OR NO WAR I— lt gives me real pleasure, without mixture, without measure, to thank my many customers once more at this recurring season, and with both thyme and reason for laying out their money at my store.
