Second Day. 1. Handicap,Hurdle Hack, of 50 bovs; over eight flights of hurdles about 3ft 6in high ; nomination, 1 sovj; acceptance, 2 sovs. 2 miles. 2. Totalisatob Stakes, of 15 sovs ; minimum weight Bst; nomination 1 sov, to be made to the Secretary immediately after the County Plate is run. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying out this programme to be final. 2. Canterbury Jockey Club Racing Rules strictly adhered to. 3. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident in the district lying between the rivers Selwyn and Waitaki from July 15, 1886, and up to the date ot the forthcoming meeting, nd owned by a person who has resided in he said district during the same perioJ.

Weights for the second day’s handicaps will be declared at 8 o'cl-ck on the evening of the first day’s racing. ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day’s handicaps must be made to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m. on TUESDAY, December 8, 1885.
