CONSTABLE NEIL.
To the Editor.
Sib, —It having occurred to several of us that Constable Neil should not be permitted to depart from our district without some acknowledgment on our part of his sterling worth as a zealous and oonscientiuus officer, I would suggest that a meet* iug be called and a committee formed for the purpose of collecting subscriptions, and so giving effect to our appreciation of hie valuable services in as substantial a manner as possible. Will one worthy Mayor move iu this matter ? I am, etc, John Humphries .
