Sib, —It having occurred to several of us that Constable Neil should not be permitted to depart from our district without some acknowledgment on our part of his sterling worth as a zealous and oonscientiuus officer, I would suggest that a meet* iug be called and a committee formed for the purpose of collecting subscriptions, and so giving effect to our appreciation of hie valuable services in as substantial a manner as possible.
