At a meeting of Rodney County Council, a resolution was passed to the effect that until the Auckland Northern railway is constructed, counties north, of Auckland should have the interest on the estimated cost (LI,500,000) handed over to them, and that Government be requested to proceed w,ith the construction of the line a* soon as possible, the question of route to ho apjfctled by a South Island Commission.
