LEGISLATIVE O 'UNoil. Friday, J. he 11. The Council met at 2 30 p in. ADDRESS-Ilf - H BPLT. The Colonial Secretary brought op the report o{ the Select Committee appoint*/! to prepare the Addroas-ia-Reply. The Hon Mr Pharazyn gave notice that on Tuesday he wonld more that the address be agreed to. SESSIONAL COMMITTEES. On the motion of the Colonial Secretary the various -Sessional Committees ware appointed for the current session. HON MR BATHGATE. The Hon Mr Bathgate took the oath and his seat.
CHAIRMAN or COMMITTER. Captain Bailie was appointed Chairman of Committee for the session. BILLS. The Colonial Secretary introduced the Municipal Corporations BUI, Legislative Council Bill, Disqu difiaation Amendment Bill and Criminal Code Bill, each of which was read a first time With regard to the Legislative Council Bill,
The Hod Mr McLaan pave notice of his intention to move for a sail of the Council to discuss the second reading. The Council adjourned at 8.66 pA till Tuesday next.
