Dwsdis, To-day. , Under date Kay 29 the Argus published the following cable from London :—The aefaeme recently proposed by Sir Jnlins Vogel for lending small earns to farmers at a low rate of interest Is strongly condemned by the city authorities. If carded out itprobably cause a rupture with the agency by which the financial arrangements of the colony are at present wtnatgtd.
