The police have received important information relating to the Simpson road Bank robbery, and it is.rumored that five men have been arrested in connection with the affair.
(Received Jaae 8, 1 p.m.) ' Mklbodene, To-day. Rumors, which were current yesterday to the effect that sevetal arrests, had been made id connection with, the Simpson’s Road Bank robbery, proved to be correct It is announced today that the police have arrested sis men and three women in various places on * suspicion of being concerned in the affair. A cart, in which the robbers, drove off, has also been toond. and* identified by those who saw it at the time of the robbery. When the prisoner s were , searched at the Ponce Station Ltoo in National Bankof tralia notes was found on them, together with a large sum of gold.
