[By Telegrame.] Wellington, To-day. It is expected the Governor’s speech will be comprehensive, an > give an unasusl oatliae of the ministerial policy. After the opening ceremony on Thorsday the House will adjourn nntU Friday, when, in accordance with the nanal ecu*., atitntiooal practice, the '■ Government will bring down some small Bill, and rt»»n an ' adjournment will probably be made to the following Tuesday. ' The Minister of Lands will, on the first opportunity, give notice of a Consolidated Land Bill, which consolidates the land laws of tho colony. The Government measures are complete and the real business of the session is expected to commence shortly after the assembly.
The Bill for the re-constrootioQ of the legislative Council limits tho nomination to ten years. The present members ex* in no way affected.
